A €300k project to examine ways to increase the levels of intrapreneurship in the South East region is kicking off this week.
The funding was secured by the Ireland South East Development Office through the EU’s Structural Reform Support Programme and the project will be carried out by AARC consultancy. The word ‘Intrapreneurship’ is most often used to describe the entrepreneurial behaviour of employees and the development of new ventures within the existing structure of an organisation. Many of the region’s most successful entrepreneurs have started their business journeys within large companies in the South East. The project will seek to establish what good practices should be put in place to optimise levels of intrapreneurial performance within companies and enhance the levels of intrapreneurship among employees.
