The Ireland South East Development Office (ISEDO) has been working with key industry leaders from across the region’s sectors of strength after inviting them to collaborate to identify immediate and strategic regional responses to the economic challenges created by the Covid-19 health crisis.
Lead by Chairman, Frank O’Regan, the group has looked at how region-specific responses can be formed across the themes: 1. Immediate Priorities 2. Areas of Opportunity 3. Skills Needs and 4. Enhancing the Start-Up Environment. Several key actions are now being brought forward by ISEDO and the Regional Skills Forum and outcomes from the workshop will also feed into a regional submission to the National Economic Recovery Plan.
