Winterval Christmas festival to go ahead in Waterford
Waterford City and County Council have announced that Winterval 2020 is going ahead.
Despite a few required changes due to social distancing and the restrictions on mass gatherings there will still be a packed programme. All your old favourites will feature, such as the Waterford Eye (kindly sponsored by Bausch + Lomb) and the carousel (thanks to SE2), along with lots of other fairground attractions, some special surprises and of course, the main man will still be the guest of honour!
Booking for Santa tickets and helicopter rides above the city (with Santa as your pilot) will go on sale on www.winterval.ie from tomorrow, 3rd October.
