Team of experts and thought-leaders to study Intrapreneurship in the South East

Consultants AARC have put together a strong consortium of experts and thought leaders to study intrapreneurship in the South East region. The project, funded through the EU’s Structural Reform Support Programme, will lead to the establishment of best practice in intrapreneurship which can then be rolled out nationally and across the EU. We introduce the expert team here:

  1. Ron Immink: Ron is a Dutch/Irish entrepreneur with extensive experience in the areas of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, strategy, innovation and business engagement. He has worked with thousands of businesses across Europe, which gives him a unique spectrum of perspectives on innovation and intrapreneurship in complex environments.
  2. Frank Hannigan: An expert in Creative Industries, Policy Area Strategy, Competition, Commercialisation, and Innovation, Franks has more than 20 years’ experience as an advisor to businesses and entrepreneurs.
  3. Aidan McCullen: University Lecturer in Emerging Trends at Trinity College Dublin, Aiden is an Innovation Facilitator and Consultant. He also presents a weekly radio show called the Innovation show, which takes a weekly look at various themes from the world of innovation, digital disruption, social media, virtual reality, IoT and transforming business models.
  4. Garvan Callan: Garvan works with business leaders to develop and execute ambitious transformations with particular focus on commercial, customer and cultural strategies.
  5. Chris Van Egeraat: Chris is Associate Professor at the Department of Geography, Maynooth University. He has 25 years experience of researching issues related to clusters and regional development policy in Ireland and internationally and has published widely in both areas. Chris regularly acts as a consultant for national and regional economic development organisations on issues related to industrial development policy.
  6. Declan Curran: Declan is an Associate Professor in DCU Business School, holds a PhD in Economics from University of Hamburg. His PhD thesis and subsequent research focuses on the empirics of regional growth over time. Prior to that, he completed an MA in Economics in University College Dublin, where his research area was the evolving industrial structure of the Ireland’s FDI-intensive industries such as the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and ICT sectors.
  7. Bernd Mintjes: Bernd is an expert in Intrapreneurship, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Startup, and ScaleUps. He was the founder of the Maxwell Group, a leading company on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Netherlands and was one of the founders of the Business Angel Association in the Netherlands.
