The New Ross Piano Festival Takes Place Next Month

This year, the New Ross Piano Festival is taking place from the 23rd to the 26th of September.

The festival features works for two pianos alongside solo piano and chamber works.

This year will mark Beethoven’s 250th anniversary – a year later due to Covid-19, plus chamber works by Mozart, Chausson and Tchaikovsky and a range of solo and duo works from Bach to Jonathan Dove.

Some of the outstanding artists this year, include Philippe Cassard, Cédric Pescia, Charles Owen, Katya Apekisheva, Christian Chamorel, Einav Yarden, Tiffany Qiu, Jason Rebello, Artistic Director Finghin Collins & many more.

The festival’s first year was 2006. It began with a clear vision, to celebrate the piano and invite world-class pianists to perform in New Ross. Each year is an exciting programme of piano concerts, featuring original collaborations between our artists across a variety of classical genres, plus a whole day dedicated to jazz piano.

Tickets will be available in late August/early September.
