Cantec has acquired InShip, with plans to double employees by 2025

Cantec has grown from 39 to 52 employees in 18 months, with a goal of reaching 100 by 2025.

Cantec, based in Waterford, was founded in 1994 to provide hardware and software to businesses in the areas of business process automation, graphic design and digital marketing, and printing. It now has offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, and Mullingar, in addition to Waterford.

Cantec’s continued expansion in Ireland is reflected in this acquisition.

Greg Tuohy, CEO of Cantec, said:

“We are delighted to announce our amalgamation with InShip, further strengthening and expanding upon the innovative software solutions we offer our customers.”

Adrian Kelehan founded InShip in 2016 to create plug-in services to help businesses automate their accounting. Its automation technology integrates with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks, allowing businesses to save up to 90% on accounts payable costs.
