Scurri expanding its headquarters in Wexford town

Scurri, the online e-commerce and delivery firm based, is planning on expanding its headquarters in Wexford town, and is preparing to grow its workforce to over 150 employees.

The news of the planning application to Wexford County Council was reported by the Irish Independent this weekend.

The company, which works with retailers such as eBay and raised €9m in venture capital funds in June 2021 that will be used to scale up the business.

In the application, the company said it is looking to change the use of a building on Wexford’s Selskar Street from apartment and retail use to that of a tech-firm office headquarters.

It was recently reported that Scurri had enjoyed a record year in 2021 with revenue up by 116%.

The new growth plans would ensure Scurri increases its workforce from around 50 employees to over 150 within the next 18 months, with the majority of them based at the Wexford HQ.

Scurri CEO Rory O’Connor spoke highly of the company’s location in Wexford:

“We are excited to be able to bring many new highly skilled workers into the town so that they can enjoy and be part of what Wexford has to offer.”
