Harvest Food Festival is back this weekend in Waterford

Harvest Festival is back for its 13th year as one of Ireland’s leading food festivals.

Funded by Waterford City & County Council, get set for a weekend more Waterford than shellakybookies, red lead and blaas. Taking place on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th September 2022. The weekend-long celebration will see the city come to life with markets, special dining events, panel discussions and plenty more. There will be fun for the entire family with the Junior GIY/Harvest Junior Area, Food Done Right stage, Harvest window displays, mobile farm, festival market and Ferris wheel.

This year, GIY is bringing sustainability right to the heart of the festivities, showcasing Waterford’s rich food heritage and celebrating our diverse restaurants, eateries and producers. The best of Waterford’s food and drink will be centre stage, showcasing that there is more to our food culture than blaas, red lead and crubeens (as delicious and all as they are).
