A new academy to build a pipeline of ICT professionals in the South East needs your feedback
The Accelerated Technical Skills (ATS) Academy is – a not-for-profit initiative – being developed in direct response to industry need to help with hiring and building a sustainable pipeline of talented ICT professionals in the South East.
The most common challenge being experienced by ICT companies in the region is the acquisition of talent. In response to this the Santegic Team are working on a proposal for an Accelerated Technical Skills (ATS) Academy with the support South East Technological University, Enterprise Ireland, Ireland South East Development Office, Waterford City & County Council and many others. The concept is to create a non-profit academy shaped by industry needs, that will focus on accelerating the development of ICT professionals, reducing the time and resources required to grow their capabilities and establish strong ICT talent pipeline within organisations.

Over the years working with companies like Routematch, NearForm and many more, I have experienced the challenge of hiring and building a sustainable pipeline of talented ICT professionals. Developing the right talent is fundamental to all of our continued success. In response to this the Santegic Team are working on a proposal for an Accelerated Technical Skills (ATS) Academy.
Key to its success is to design a program that addresses the challenges that businesses face. To this end I am seeking input from businesses across sectors to help shape an academy that meets those challenges.
