South East Jobs & Skills Fair Returns to Waterford This Saturday

The Waterford Chamber of Commerce ‘South East Jobs & Skills Fair’ will return to the Granville Hotel on Saturday, February 21st, from 9am to 2pm. The event is proudly supported by title sponsor UPMC Whitfield.

Now firmly established as a key date in the regional employment calendar, the Jobs & Skills Fair has delivered significant success in recent years, with numerous hires confirmed as a direct result of employer and candidate engagement on the day. The event provides businesses with a valuable opportunity to meet potential employees face-to-face and identify candidates who align with their organisational needs.

The initiative continues to receive strong institutional backing, including support from the Department of Social Protection, Waterford City & County Council, IDA Ireland and Enterprise Ireland. Collaboration with Regional Chamber colleagues will also help ensure strong attendance and maximum footfall on the day.

In a continued commitment to diversity and inclusion, a dedicated sensory hour will take place from 9am to 10am. This initiative is designed to support members of the autistic community and individuals with disabilities, providing a quieter and more accessible environment to engage with employers about work placements and job opportunities.
