Three finalists set for ‘The Big Pitch’ live event on Tuesday 29th November

The South East BIC’s BIG PITCH 2022 live final takes place on Tuesday November 29th at 9.30am in Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum in the heart of Waterford City. There will be three live pitches as selected Start Ups from the region compete to win the prize of €5000. The shortlist has been narrowed down to three finalists who are:

  • Pauline Kwasniak with her business Finedeeds, a platform where companies can create, manage and measure their Corporate Social Responsibilities all in the one place, allowing them to see the impact their initiatives are making in the world.
  • , founder of SmartXAssistant. This AI-powered SAAS helps mortgage brokers translate data into insights that support fast, accurate decision-making within a few clicks.
  • The third finalist is David Ganly of hconnect.io. An integration toolkit for the hospitality industry that is making process automation, syncing, and vendor management easy for hoteliers.

The judges for the final will be Keith Brock, Senior Development Advisor HPSU at Enterprise Ireland, Niamh Sterling, Investment Consultant for HBAN (Halo Business Angel Network), Niall McEvoy, Venture Partner from Elkstone, and Jacqui Gaule, Enterprise Development for Waterford Local Enterprise Offices.

Barry Downes to talk about his entrepreneurial experience and now life with a VC Sure Valley Ventures with Aidan Shine from SEBIC while the judges deliberate on who will win this year’s event.
