Eastgate Engineering Expands Operations with New Irish Headquarters at Port of Waterford

Eastgate Engineering has officially announced the opening of its new Irish office at Marine Point, Belview Port, Waterford, marking an important step in the specialist engineering company’s continued expansion across Ireland and the UK. The new location strengthens Eastgate’s presence in Ireland’s South East and enables the company to build closer relationships with regional partners.

Eastgate provides end-to-end services ranging from engineering and construction through to commissioning, start-up and long-term maintenance. The company’s specialist capabilities span electrical, instrumentation and mechanical services, as well as offshore wind, special systems, telecoms/data and commissioning.

Operating in safety-critical and highly technical environments, Eastgate Engineering supports clients across a wide range of industries, including Offshore Wind, Power & Renewables, Oil, Gas & Chemicals, Pharmaceutical & Healthcare, Industrial & Manufacturing and Mining. The company has built a strong reputation for successfully delivering large, complex projects through a “one team” approach, where teams work collaboratively with clients to deliver the best outcomes.

The move to Marine Point forms part of a wider growth strategy for the company and positions Eastgate at the heart of Ireland’s developing offshore renewable energy sector. Located within Belview Port, the new office provides direct proximity to one of Ireland’s key maritime hubs, which is expected to play an increasingly important role in supporting future offshore wind development in the South East.

Eastgate Engineering has also recently expanded its footprint across the UK. The company has upgraded its UK head office, relocating from Billingham to a larger facility in Stockton to support its expanding workforce. In addition, Eastgate has opened a new office in Warrington to strengthen its presence in the North West of England, another key centre for energy and infrastructure projects.

David Brennan, CEO of Eastgate Engineering, said the new Waterford office reflects both the company’s continued growth and the opportunities emerging in the region’s energy sector:

Establishing a base here was a strategic decision driven by the future of the energy sector in Ireland, as the South East prepares to lead the way in offshore wind. It allows us to be closer to our projects, our partners, and the talented workforce emerging from institutions like SETU.

Alongside the expansion of our UK headquarters in Stockton and the opening of our Warrington office, the new Waterford base reflects the strong growth Eastgate Engineering has experienced in recent years and positions us well for the continued opportunities we see ahead.

Eastgate Engineering’s growth has been driven by its highly skilled workforce and a strong focus on delivering high-quality engineering services. The company continues to invest in its people and capabilities, developing specialist skillsets that support the successful delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects.
