Shorla Pharma develop and commercialize innovative oncology drugs for women’s and pediatric cancers. They focus on indications where existing treatments are limited, in shortage or inadequate for the target population.
Shorla Pharma is a Tipperary business which was founded in 2018 by Orlaith Ryan and Sharon Cunningham.
Working with world renowned key opinion leaders and first in class research scientists the team merge experience and innovation to solve real world clinical problems. By integrating these innovative solutions into effective oncology treatments patients’ lives are greatly improved.
Shorla Pharma has since expanded into the U.S. with the opening of a Cambridge, MA Office.

It’s extremely important to both co-founders that every product they release is affordable for patients while at the same time maintaining high quality. This is made possible because of investment from one of the world’s largest suppliers of raw materials.
